Volunteer FAQs
Q1: Do I need coaching experience?
A: No. We provide playbooks, practice plans, and mentorship. Many of our best coaches started as first-time volunteers.*
Q2: Is there a minimum age to volunteer?
A: Coaches must be 18 +, but teens (15–17) can serve as junior assistants or photographers.*
Q3: Are volunteers paid?
A: These are volunteer roles, but we recognize outstanding coaches and offer stipends for expanded programs.*
Q4: How long is a season?
A: Typically 8–10 weeks, depending on the sport and city.*
Q5: What if I can’t commit for the full season?
A: We also welcome one-day or event-based volunteers—every hour helps.*
